Lipoma & Cyst Removal

Lipomas and cysts can be annoying, painful, and affect your quality of life.

A lipoma is a knot of fatty tissue, while a cyst is a hard, fluid-filled bump. Neither is usually harmful, but they can be uncomfortable. We offer a variety of treatment options for cysts and lipomas.

Lipoma Removal

Lipomas are small, noncancerous masses of fatty tissue that usually grow just below the surface of your skin. These growths aren’t harmful to your health and can be removed with an incision in overlying skin if they become painful, large, or bothersome to the patient.

Cyst Removal

Cysts are small, noncancerous nodules that develop beneath your skin and usually contain fluid surrounded by a firm shell. One treatment option is to simply puncture and drain the growth. However, cysts that are drained often grow back as the “sack” left behind refills. Alternatively, surgically removing the cyst by making a small incision is the most effective method to prevent the cyst from returning.

Be free of those pesky lumps and bumps.
