East Cobb is an unincorporated suburb of Atlanta. It is located in Cobb County and northwest of Atlanta. The community is home to more than 170,000 residents. The public schools in East Cobb are part of the Cobb County School District and include six high school districts (Pope, Sprayberry, Wheeler, Kell, Walton, and Lassiter) and nine middle school districts (Daniell, McCleskey, Simpson, Hightower Trail, Mabry, East Cobb, Dodgen, and Dickerson)
First developed in the 1960s it continues to thrive to this day. Several attempts have been made to incorporate East Cobb, but so far all attempts have remained unsuccessful. If East Cobb were to incorporate, it would be the largest city in the Atlanta metro area with the exception of Atlanta. East Cobb is administered by the Cobb County Government.

East Cobb has a humid subtropical climate. Most of the area is above 1,000 feet making it slightly cooler than the other metro areas surrounding Atlanta. It receives on average more than 50 inches of rain each year and 3 inches of snow. Sweat Mountain is the highest point in East Cobb at 1688 feet.

On the day of your appointment, make sure your skin is clean and avoid wearing makeup. Make sure to bring a list of current medications and other treatments you’ve tried in the past. Your dermatologist will take a current medical and social history. They’ll ask you questions about current medications, health issues, and whether or not you smoke or drink alcohol.
You may be asked to disrobe and given a hospital gown for a full-body skin exam to check for any suspicious moles or other skin conditions. Regardless, the dermatologist will conduct a thorough skin assessment to make sure nothing is missed.
Our dermatologists are all board-certified medical doctors and experts in their field. We have several board-certified physician assistants as well as licensed aestheticians on our staff.
